The Sunshine Hotel
The direction the Sunshine Hotel takes is a strange one. 3 very different views of the residents are used. The hardworking man had bright colored scenes while the transvestite's life was generally viewed as dark. The old man was shown as just another piece in the clockwork of society. I do not think that any of the people were wearing costumes and the set was a an apartment building in an urban city. Since it was a documentary it did not require any special effects.
