Hero had two kinds of sets. Nature and City. By using many sets witinh these two categories the viewer understands the great distances traveled by the character in the movie. The movie uses so many special effects that it is best to forget about reality when watching it to fully enjoy it. For example when a woman uses a SILK scarf to deflect STONE piercing arrows that must be flying at 90+ Mph. Luckily the realistic sounds help you to believe what is happening. The direction had the story moving forward whenever someone started explaining something or when someone was defeated in battle or when the battle was over.
