The controller of a video game console can determine its success or failure. This is because the controller is what the user has to use for hundreds of hours. Nothing can save a console with a horrible controller. This can be seen for example how the wii's sales are double of that of the playstation3's. Without is innovative controller the wii would probably be in last place.
